Working with Mideast Multisport Coaches: “I needed organization to my workouts because they started in November of 2007 and stretched into Sept. 2008. I also had an ambitious (for me) plan to finish 5 triathlons in ’08 including my first half-ironman. I accomplished that goal, and did well in all the events. I also needed advice on nutrition during the race, transition tips, using a wet-suit, and other useful information. This was a very rewarding year as a triathlete. I was especially pleased with my first half-ironman. I was able to finish strong, and look forward to more competitions.”

"2009 was an extraordinary year for me on the triathlon trail that led me though five states, and eight races, including Age-Group Nationals in Alabama. I started 2009 under the coaching of Eric Atnip, and with a new tri bike giving me more speed, finished first in my age group five times! But it wasn't just the bike. My running really improved. I had been doing 8-minuted miles. By the end of the season, I was under 7-minute miles. At Tri Fr Sight my run averaged 6:48 per mile...a huge improvement thanks to Eric's workouts, and my determination to improve. Fro the first time, I was dropping people on the run. To top off the year, I qualified for Team USA for Worlds in September of 2010! Budapest here I come!"
